@Nihit @jithamithra ditto. I listen to "Invest like the best", "Return on India" and pick best points from transcripts; when I listen, I'm always amazed to pick new points which I didn't pay attention while reading through the transcripts

@mijustin I notice similar pattern on website traffic to. Traffic from Twitter has fallen down to 8th or 10th.

@prla @samspurlin I like kindle for all practical purposes except the quick reviews I can do or locate a particular passage by flipping through a book. That is something I find it hard in kindle

Checklists are proxies for getting things done. Release management checklists do not guarantee a smooth production release. Proxies are helpful until they own you. 3/3

Speaking English is a proxy for technical competence. It is very rare that someone who is able to identify a bug and fix it quickly is proficient at explaining it to a client in English. 2/3

Humans have improved their lives through the use of technology instead of being subverted by it. AI is going to be no different. It seems hyped, overwhelming, and threatening today. Soon, human creativity will embrace AI to make our lives better. 2/2

James Austin classified luck in, "Chase, chance, and creativity". He says there are 4 types of luck: - Blind Luck - Active Luck - Discerned Luck - Personality Luck I have gained from all these types of luck. I detail each one with an example here:

@madversity When VP doesn't understand constitution and makes comments which don't align with constitution, why not a HC judge?

Lee has launched multiple products with low code tools and even sold some of them. You can listen to his journey from being a designer to product builder in this podcast interview.

@SathyaHQ Great idea Sathya. What would be needed to do this? I think this could even be still drilled-down Gumroad products for marketers Courses for developers etc.

@SathyaHQ @arvidkahl For now, I'm experimenting with different contents (forms, time separation) with different medium. • first send to newsletter • a week later tweet / mastodon • YouTube channel runs independently on book reviews & community education • Polished version on LinkedIn

@nikhilkamathcio Because MSFT teams are bought by purchase depts who don't have to use it. Rest are introduced by the actual users.

@arvidkahl This is a question @SathyaHQ asked - If I'm already following you on the social media, why should I subscribe to your newsletter? If the content is same everywhere, what is the need? Fair question. Don't have an answer.

@prla This is a fantastic set of questions Paulo. Simple to remember. Thanks for sharing. Going to use these in my weekly planning and reviews.

@madversity why don't independent media orgs and journalists join mastodon? You can join an existing instance or each org can setup their own instances

@wileymckayconte @transmissions11 I use "drafts" for quick notes; for any other form of notes, I use obsidian. The wikilinks, "open random note" as a way to refresh your memory are all some of the superb features of obsidian

@DisruptionJoe @transmissions11 If you are outline based thinker, nothing beats logseq. But if you have 1000s of notes then logseq is not just slow it is unusable (I have 1000s or notes created / collected over a decade)

@reddy2go @SathyaHQ Reddy: You make a good point here: >but most haven't played enough by themselves first As Covey says, unless you become independent you can't become interdependent. Most think a coach can wave a magic wand and coaches comply. That is the reason for the rot.

@malpani It is the same as twitter but more engaging; there are no ads or recommendation algorithms. So your feed is what you make it - you can make it by following people or hashtags like #homeschool #mastindia #investing etc BTW: what is your handle?
