@marcs_dev @ImMaheKarim If you have great dev experience with a framework go ahead with it. Svelte is production ready. What matters are your familiarity, ecosystem to support you if you get stuck, and fitting into your requirements.

@dipanmoy @devinamehra 2. Manali Petro: bought almost at ₹10. Went up to 140. Now down to abt 60. Still holding since fundas are strong. When it changes will sell

@dipanmoy @devinamehra Two opposing examples: - bought Thyrocare on funda. But then it got sold and the new owners pledged to pay off their debts in other group companies. Stock fell down. Sold it. Still in profit but at least 20% down from top price.

@dipanmoy @devinamehra Have experienced this multiple times. From a fundamentals perspective, unless something changes in the company fundamentals I don’t sell. Over a 10-year period, short blips don’t matter.

@pranesh Can't understand how a society can embrace Periyarian principles and project itself as progressive society and yet cling to caste so deeply. If you go into deep rural areas, the bondage is even tighter.

@jasjiv Interesting. Would you have any more examples or some articles that I can read to understand this better? Sorry don’t know the incident you quote. Will search for that too.

@vishalsehijpal I agree the most don’t subscribe. But the most keep silent too. That empowers the bigoted minorities to keep pushing their agenda.

@culturaltutor Thank you for the thread on Alexander. What I have not been able to grasp is, how he managed to keep the kingdoms that he conquered in tact. There has been a lot of info about the warrior side of him; what about him as an administrator?

The same thinking applies to people too. Everybody has a personal brand. At work, at home, and within your friend group. What's the range of outcomes people have come to expect from you?

@ArjunMahadevan What about buying digital things (books, apps ...)? Any tips there? Of late, I seem to buy awful lot of kindle books because, hey....I can store as much as I want 😳

In reply to @SathyaHQ

@SathyaHQ @GeorgeKao Thanks Sathya. More and more I lean abt AI & gpt, I getting these two feelings: • we will get more and more dumb results and people will treat them as normal • smart people will still thrive (no threat to jobs that smart people can do)

@_zenman Interesting. Which means, much like social media, these gpts will feed in to the biases that a person possess. Scary. We are going to have people who say, "gpt told me so ..."

@VimalINC @tarauk For someone starting with MK’s writing, which ones would you recommend to start with to understand social justice and other thought process?

@michaelnewt I have repeatedly noticed that what appears as impromptu is actually a result of methodical practice of the art. Thanks for this tweet Michael.

Some points from HN discussions: • participating in the medical system while not in need of emergency care is risking one's health and life. • medicine is about incentive alignment, rather than doing no harm • statistics don't deal with the individual outcomes.

In reply to @arvidkahl

@arvidkahl @elgeyo All success stories are narrated from a single point of view that the narrator wants to emphasise, leaving other factors that the narrator feels not essential to the story. But a true student finds the nuances. There is no single silver bullet though world keeps looking for it

@kenbrittain @dr This is not the first time Twitter did this. They breached the trust that dev community had. May be because of Elon or the new set of devs who doesn't know history might build things. But most established on branched out to FB, LinkedIn etc.

I homeschool my boys. Writing is part of their daily routine. I asked them to test audiopen. They talked about they recent Gudalur trip that @SathyaHQ made it possible. It got the context well and the final output was awesome. They should publish it soon

@RRejeleene Indian IT companies are challenged by multiple factors - rising wages, competition from Thailand & Eastern Europe, rose of low code no code tools, rising wages… Unless they innovate we will see much turbulence soon.

@KDHabibi Why do you think so? Are there any credible Republican leaders who can win the election? (BTW: I have not much idea abt the US scene sitting far away in India. Just curious about your comment)
