@pankaj013 @AjeyGore What? At Amazon? Hard to believe. Is this AWS or Amazon? Any specific reasons?
@pankaj013 @AjeyGore Have met ppl everywhere on this spectrum. There are ppl who will jump for just few thousands per month to ppl who have to get more because of sudden change in life. It also depends on the type of company. May be in products space ppl leave for work. In services probably money
@arvindhsundar @talktoterryco Ha ha what a creative way to reply 👏 I suppose you will announce on your list? I am already subscribed to your list.
@talktoterryco @arvindhsundar Is this publicly available @arvindhsundar ?
@KurtisHanni • Richer, wiser, happier - you can mimic masters to become richer, wiser, happier • Coaching from essence - drift or dream • Wanting - good & bad mimetic rivalry • Playing to win - strategy is a cascade of choices
@pankaj013 @ChanderBhatia01 As the Chinese say, "If you want to build wealth, build roads" • We are building digital infra; but privacy & security is still concerns. We hear too many cases of citizen data leakage. • We need to build physical infra too. • Decentralize growth; enable states to fund growth
@arvindhsundar These are the questions I ask myself often: - what are the timeless principles that have stood the test of time - how are they applicable to me / my customers today - how effectively I can communicate them Ok to be approximately correct:
@arvindhsundar Great question. @singhtechnical, a friend of @GravitasWins dedicates half a day a week for strategic thinking. When I visited his office, he showed me a big diary with all writing, notes, and drawings. Successful entrepreneur and strategic thinker.
@damonify @eagle_app I use eagle & store it’s library on Dropbox.
@omkarjadhav @GeekWhoWorksout @malpani That's a great metaphor ;-) Thanks for sharing.
@NoziaSayyed @malpani Try ; has free option; their pro version starts with $9 per YEAR; That is what my 9 year old used to create landing pages first (he created for some of my friends too). Now he is learning bubble after @SathyaHQ talked about it.
@omkarjadhav @GeekWhoWorksout @malpani Interesting Omkar. Would you mind sharing why you are against "no code"?
@malpani @sanatanisanit has a free option; they have a pro plan for $9 a YEAR; That is what my younger one started with; the now (even as I type this) using bubble to create his portfolio after @rishabh_grg encouraged him to do so.
@johnfrancmartin @romaindewolff @getairchat @voicely_app wasn't clubhouse fall in the same bucket (and failed)?
@hasan_3wada Depends on your core skills and where you want to go. Some choose management (PM) route because they are good with people and can't handle constant upgrade cycle of tech. Some (like me) choose tech path because we love to play with tech esp fundamentals of tech prod building
@TheCoolestCool Have visited most of continental Europe. Places I've mentioned will beat them in architecture. What we lack is promotion and infrastructure.
@TheCoolestCool Come to South India. We have sculptures (add beaches, food ...). Top of my mind: • Badami : • Hampi: • Tanjore temple: • Madurai temple: • Mamallapuram:
BTW: here is JFK Jr going on podcast tour getting ready for 2024 election.
Instead of lamenting the darkness, they can light a candle
So may be instead of lamenting it as propaganda, opposition parties should embrace this medium too. What is preventing them from reaching out to these podcasters and explain their position?
@pankaj013 Have been wanting to ask you ever since I read that first; What are you doing in retirement? Is it retiring from daily corporate work but doing something else? It is interesting to see many take early retirement. BTW: I work only 3 days a week.
@madversity They say it because it works and news anchors don’t question. Not just TV but paper too. Now even social media will be taken care of with influencer programs + registration of fact checking accounts.
@Simon_Murphy @AJWTheology Are these ones? Or if you have a better link to those commentaries can you please share? God Bless
@TanmayS_Chauhan Mind sharing the books you read on these domains?
@pankaj013 @KiranRajput_ Why we shud study history of whatever domain we pursue. Proves, it can’t be buy and forget mode for stock investing.
@petecheslock @feulf There is no overlap of folks who chase nee shiny objects and those who impact the world
@rishabh_grg Congrats on another great launch RG
@nicholasadeleon @NickADobos @AlmostMedia @jonst0kes Mine similar. Authoritative dad; raised catholic; mass every Sunday; wake up at 5.30 everyday; etc. As you say, “I am incredibly thankful for it”. Did it have its side effect? Yes. I lacked independent decision making ability.
@EmilyVernell @AlmostMedia I’m not able to locate the tweet or blog but @mijustin made similar observation. Church gives you training in many different aspect - voluntary service, choir or music, talking to adults etc.
@AlmostMedia “As they know their boundaries” - point. Discipline is freedom. Discipline looks like fear and threat from outside.
@shroffamit @malpani Until then you can teach them to analyse stocks of different companies. Here are the reviews by my boys: • Coal India: • NMDC: • Infy:
@ShivamShankarS At that time these problems were tracked at the secretary level. There were clear SLA with penalty on the vendor. If the site was down for more than a day it will get escalated to the minister. Top level people travelled to all metros to collect feedback. Hmmm…diff days
@ShivamShankarS Having worked in MCA 1 & 2 websites (from the govt side), I feel sad abt this. There were problems esp when Infy took over from TCS. But there was swift action from then govt. Now nobody seems to care.
@madversity Exactly. Knowing the DMK politicians they wouldn’t mind making him a martyr. If anything happens to him, BJP can forget TN for decades.
@_zenman @malpani First time founders focus on developing; second time founders focus on distribution. How to learn distribution (at least how I'm learning): • Know your audience • Know the problem you are solving • Know where they congregate & discuss the problem • Be there & genuinely help
Living a good life is to be known without your job designations - Meenakshi S Respect should be earned for what you are. Not for the positions you hold. If you want to build a career that is unique to you, listen to this podcast:
@BrentBeshore Thank you for sharing these Brent. Just want to say that what you share is encouraging. Keep sharing. God Bless.
@khemaridh Kids mimic what they see. If they see their parents building a longer table than a higher wall, they will follow that path.
@jem0622 @khemaridh Well said. Set an example. Kids mimic what they see. • Want them to read? You read. • Want them to work hard? You show the way • Want them to be generous? Show the way There is no better model.
@deepakshenoy @SwatiDugar_ When I had a choice to go for MBA or launch a startup, I chose the later. Though I had to shutdown my startup after 2 years, I learnt a lot during those years. It was a practical MBA in the form of what exactly you need. I would do that any given day.
@yishan I agree on this differentiation Yishan. Time and again I have seen the real experts lack this rhetoric skill and hence fundamental principles (be it vaccines, employee management, building a company) are left to sidelines. How to improve such scientific communication?
@ANayyar16 Best book: Read different articles I wrote here:
@ImMaheKarim @marcs_dev Try svelte before getting distracted by their sveltekit
@SathyaHQ Every body is a imitator of another. • Download visuals of anyone (like @jackbutcher ) • Study them • Mimic them • Reverse engineer their thinking • Start creating your own visuals You can watch this video to know "how to mimic a master"
@SathyaHQ Sathya used gamification to prove that all of us that we can create visuals. We have this idea in our mind that we can't create visuals. But that is not true. You too can create visuals. All of you.
