@Ralph_Grabowski @tomfgoodwin This is what I do. I don't have to download the video. Just watch without ads. I don't know how UBlock does that though.
@SuccessProject_ While growing up we had Iran war, Iraq war, recession, and so on. Those days the only way to get and analyze news was from papers and analysts on the TV. Today everyone shouts from Twitter, FB, and everywhere. So we feel the world is on the edge. My take.
@eremika_45 Whoever says only India has stray dogs probably should watch this video ;-)
@JacksonKernion @kevinroose I think in 2026 we will see a "substack for apps" https://t.co/aWb8xsAKu5 @nileshtrivedi is building something in this space
@BenjaminDEKR what was the moat of linux in the world of windows what was the moat of firefox in the world of safari & IE? Companies will find moat - primarily, as Jeff Bezos wrote in his 2015 annual letter: winners pay for more experiments Now whichever company runs more experiments to…
@Marcel7an @BenjaminDEKR Winners pay for more experiments - Jeff Bezos. GenAI tools have enabled companies to pay for more experiments.
@andymukherjee70 @rambombay When Indian politicians and their right-wing supporters suggest emulating China, they overlook these positive aspects and focus instead on the autocratic elements.
@andymukherjee70 > You are no longer to supply the people with straw for making bricks; let them go and gather their own straw. But require them to make the same number of bricks as before; don’t reduce the quota - Exodus 5:7-8 The more things change, the more it remains the same. This is not…
@GergelyOrosz LLMs output looks magical until you prompt on areas you are good at. That's when you start seeing the cracks. (Same is true for news too)
@pamelafox @simonw @GergelyOrosz @HamelHusain @intellectronica @isaac_flath @GaryMarcus Been following Simon & Gergely. Didn't know about others. Adding them all to my "Twitter University" list. As you say in your blog post, best way is to practice what you consume. I have been following this learning methodology for more than a decade and it helped a lot:… https://t.co/jnKkcDyRqH
@YouknowTheguy3 @shelley_curious @WesleyLHuff Robert Pirsig says something similar in his awesome book, "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". Since reading that book, I always follow a slow and intentional methodology to reading anything that I consider important. Having said that, I read the Bible in multiple…
@akoratana @jainarvind > will not be done in a single, universal platform There are couple of other reasons too (other than universal ontology) No enterprise would want to keep everything in a single platform. Too risky History also teaches us. As soon as there is a standard, enterprises add their…
@branthansen > Desires limit our view. We have to have an expanded vision to avoid becoming slaves to them. We become slaves to them at our peril, and the great peril of those around us, people whom we purport to love. Thank you for writing this. Excellent advice
@randhirk9786 > Patterns emerge I am preparing a sermon for this Sunday. And the crux is this: how to identify emerging patterns. Those who can identify patterns early flourish

@jameesy @JamesClear @SahilBloom Interesting. I call "Life Objective" what you and @SahilBloom calls as razor. I explained my productive system here: https://t.co/hy0seVexD4
@kapsology I used to buy them from "Europa" stores in Chennai (2nds store) in late 90s. Quality even in those shirts would be so good. It would come for couple of years without any issue. Now even the ones I buy from the stores are of poor quality.
@jhn_stanbridge @CapturingChrist Thanks. Will read reviews first. From the other tweet reply it doesn't seem worth the read though. But thank you for debating this civilly online. It has become so rare now-a-days. God Bless.
@jhn_stanbridge @CapturingChrist He doesn't use "brother" for Mark, Barnabas, Peter or anyone else. He also says, "born of a woman" so we can look for more than what is needed. But these things indicates he is not talking about a cosmic christ. "before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed…
@jhn_stanbridge @CapturingChrist I don't know where there is proof about Mark and Peter believing "cosmic" Christ. If they come from non-NT sources like Gnostic gospels, then I don't think there is an end to the opinions and discussions. I don't see NT writing proves this point.
@jhn_stanbridge @CapturingChrist > what he has learnt is from scripture and revelation and not from men I'm sure you know that he is talking here about "gospel" In other places he talks about, "born of woman" and Davidic descent and about meeting brother of our Lord, James. I don't think his writing talks…
When you figure out the end, everything else falls in place. I wish you a great 2026 and life beyond too. If you liked the thread, please retweet the first tweet below: 16/16 https://t.co/FW4XCQMhBJ
Every Sunday evening, I sit down to review my week and plan for the next week. I primarily ask: - what did I do well, why? - what didn't go well, why? - what changes I need to do - what should I pursue 10x? - what should I stop doing More here: https://t.co/oCliyFCo95 15/16
These tasks need to be scheduled. All time-bound tasks are in the calendar. Other tasks are in a long text file. These tasks are in the next-action format. They are not vague; they are specific. Every week, I set aside a block of time to pick tasks and complete them. 14/16
For each "have" goal, I try to set "do" goals. "Do" goals are the tasks I must do to get what I want to have. Neither can be accomplished if your "being" is different. You need "be" goals—what you need to be in order to do and ultimately gain. Three goals:…
For every area, I figure out what "Results" I want to achieve. Talking about results (goals), we usually have only "have" goals: - buy a house - buy a car - get promoted Mostly these "have" goals are also mimetically borrowed. 12/16
With this clarity my productivity system takes a different shape. I start with "Areas" I want to improve or focus. Areas for me are: Wealth Insights Network Self Every 12 weeks, I try to get WINS 11/16
Now everything I do revolve around "earning the obituary" or meeting "life's objective" When I find something tough, I remind "why" I am doing what I'm doing. I can then ask, is this suffering worth it? Should I undergo? Is there any other way to achieve what I want to do.…
I wrote my obituary here: https://t.co/DUV1iSZ6mv That one exercise alone brought me more clarity than anything else. 8/16
Stephen Covey suggests writing your own obituary. That idea stayed with me. What would my wife say? My children? The people I worked with? That question quietly killed a lot of unnecessary goals. 7/16
If you want to go somewhere, the best way is to enter the destination into Google Maps and follow the directions. Yet, in life, we often believe we can wander aimlessly and still reach a great destination. Not happening. 6/16
What finally helped was stepping back and asking a different question: “What kind of life am I trying to build?” Not next year. At the end. Start with the end. 5/16
For a long time, I tried the usual routes. GTD Notion dashboards Todoist lists Some worked for a while. Most didn’t stick. Not because they were bad. But because they weren’t mine. 4/16
Productivity, belongs in the same category. You don’t become productive by obsessing over output, hacks, or tools. You become productive when your life has direction. 3/16
Happy people aren’t happy because they optimise for happiness. They’re happy because they’re doing things that feel meaningful to them. Wealth works the same way. You don’t get rich by chasing money. You get rich by creating value and knowing how to ask for your share. 2/16
@jhn_stanbridge @CapturingChrist > a chap called Jesus who had just died I don't know what you mean here because Paul continually says, unless Christ was crucified and resurrected my preaching is vain. Do you mean Paul doesn't quote any historical evidences? If so, for him meeting Peter and other disciples is…
@amitmalik99 Thank you. find your gang ;-)
@jposhaughnessy I have no regrets, not because I didn't make mistakes or things didn't go bad. But if I didn't make them, I wouldn't be where I'm with the people I am with now (including my wife & kids). I am so happy with where I'm so all the mistakes don't matter.
@lxztlr I highlight while reading PDFs and export highlights I transcribe videos and then highlight / summarise I know they are lot more easier in logseq.
@lxztlr I like outliners and used logseq before switching completely to obsidian. - moving to db version ditching file over app concept - in obsidian I can link to a heading like [[note#heading]]; just one look I know what it is abt; - I can organize in folders (people, projects etc)
@JimConnolly @glenscrivener @nfergus > it seems a little like deploying Christianity as a self-help or wellness strategy I understand what you are saying and I agree. But all the early disciples came to Christ because they thought he is going to rescue them from Romans. Only later they got who he really was. So I…
@devloperhs @antigravity I also had to switch the model; I think there is some issue; however the genai for coding can evolve, but still "some error" haunts developers (& users equally) since the dawn of software development ;-)
@AtharvaMate11 Just restart agy: https://t.co/uwN8eg46uX
@dravishakatoch @SubstackInc Twitter is not for long reading. Esp without RSS feeds.
@ecchoing_green @dmuthuk I have a kobo reading device and buy from Kobo store. It is cheaper there even after amazon's discount: https://t.co/sAeJrNhvIT
@DeepakNesss Interesting find 😜
@DrDemirdasEn @PBDsPodcast Interesting. Where do you get the age of 3 for Rebecca?
