So much is packed into just one chapter. Whether we agree with Genesis 1 or not, many of our deepest values like human dignity, purpose, and order begin here. I hope we keep building our lives on these foundations. There is wisdom in the beginning. 12/12
Genesis 1 ends with: “And God saw all that He had made, and it was very good.” All of creation is very good. That's why, I love spending time in forests, near water, along the shore. There’s still so much beauty in the world. Still so much goodness. 11/12
In Genesis 1, humans and animals are given plants for food. No shedding of blood. A peaceful world where life is sustained without death. Only after the flood does God permit eating meat. The original design was harmony, not violence. 10/12
“I’ve given you every seed-bearing plant... every tree with seed.” God gives us seeds and trees but not furniture or houses. He provides the raw materials. We’re invited to create, build, and imagine. That’s part of bearing His image. 9/12
“Multiply. Fill the earth. Subdue it.” God gives humanity a blessing and a role. We don’t own the earth. We rule as His image-bearers, on His behalf. Not to exploit, but to care. Not as kings, but as stewards. 8/12
Humanity is the final act of creation, the only ones made in God’s image. We carry His likeness, His creative impulse, His longing to nurture and grow. That’s not a small thing. That’s sacred. 7/12
The first blessing in the Bible isn’t to humans. It’s to sea creatures and birds: “Be fruitful and multiply.” Later, God gives the same to humans. God wants life to flourish across all creation. 6/12
In Genesis 1, God takes pleasure in His work. Even before the fall, work is not a curse, it’s sacred. Work brings dignity. It’s respected and celebrated. We should honor our work and those who labor beside us. 5/12
“And God saw that it was good.” Each day in Genesis 1 ends with review. God created and took pleasure in His work. If God took time to reflect, maybe we should too. Do you end your day asking, “Was it good?” 4/12
First lesson from Genesis 1: God separates. Light from darkness. Waters from sky. Land from sea. We, made in His image, do the same. From naming animals to modern taxonomy—we classify, organize, distinguish. 3/12
@manask_ @arpit_bhayani @Trae_ai Has anyone tried @NativeScript with GenAI tools?
Here's the answer from my elder son, who is the introvert of the house. He recently attended a youth camp where he made a few close friends, and he can’t stop talking about them. You can read more about his experience at the youth camp on his blog.
@JCRyle I preached this: Even in your lowest moments, you can give God something. When you do, He multiplies it to bless you and others through you
What do you think about this future? #IdeaSeed from: 4/4
If agentic AI tools can generate code, generate documents, and MCP servers can update basecamp and slack, then will there be wastage of hours? You focus on writing your spec as clearly and comprehensive as possible. Machines will do everything else. 3/4
Today the biggest waste of time is keeping everyone and everything updated. PMs and others spend enormous amount of time in creating PRDs, creating tickets in Jira, scheduling meetings, updating everyone, sending MoMs ... 2/4
@_KiranRajput Any reason you suggest Parag for 40s and not for 20s?
@malpani This video by Sugata Mitra changed my perspective: You facilitate and step back. Kids can learn. That was one of the inspiration for homeschooling my boys. I mention all these in my post:
On one side we are talking about Agentic AI etc. But on the ground this is the #digitalIndia that citizens face. Problems are not solved just citizens are kicked from one pole to another. (And if you question the authorities you are called anti-Indian by fellow India’s 😳).
Now they have “resolved” the ticket with this message - create ticket with email id. If I have to create ONLY with email id why there is option to create with mobile?
Their ticketing system allows creating a ticket with email id or mobile number. I created one with mobile number. The mobile number was validated with OTP.
4. This will also be a template for me to follow in learning other fields with ChatGPT (or other GPTs). • What prompts give good answers? • How GPTs challenge your thinking and hence help you learn? • What are the techniques to learn with GPT etc,. 9/9
3. Early Twitter encouraged discussions, debates with questions and comments. Today it has become a place of bullying. But do other networks promote discussions? I'm hoping, I'll see thoughtful engagements rather than bullying. So I will learn other's point of view too. 8/9
2. Medium helps you learn differently. I used to note down on paper Then took notes digitally Both shaped my meditations differently Tweeting in 280 chars forces you to understand & convey your point without confusing anyone. Limits you to 1 tweet = 1 thought. 7/9
1. I have followed consume-produce-engage learning framework to learn many topics like project management, software development, and even value investing (I wrote about it here: ) Now I'm using that framework for studying the Bible too. 6/9
I enjoy the answers given by ChatGPT. Since I already read the Bible and have read commentaries and explanations, I can cross-verify the answers. ChatGPT has become a good Bible study partner. I've planned to share my study in the coming days. Why? 5/9
Ex: This was my question in Gen 4 (about Cain killing Abel) Abel was righteous. He did the right thing. Yet God didnt protect him. What’s does it say abt being righteous? Why shud we do the right things if God wouldn’t protect us. 4/9
Then I read verse by verse and ask as many questions as I have. I ask tough questions I've in mind or what others have asked. I am not satisfied with surface level answers like "oh that's God" or "don't question the Bible" 3/9
Recently, I began reading the Bible using ChatGPT as a study partner. As I start, I ask: • Give me summary of the chapter, main themes, and characters. • How are Jesus and the Holy Spirit represented? • What characteristics of man and God are revealed here? 2/9
@nutanc More than “not my concern” it is more of resignation & helplessness. Nothing can be done. So keep quiet and go on.
@Corlexys @HannahFrankman We have been homeschooling 2 boys (in India). Absolutely love it. They too. But I agree it is not for all. As I say: I am a homeschooling enthusiast not an evangelist.
@vedikaja_in @bhavishsood What is the trend indicating: • new products move from analyze to act • single model moat is gone • data + trust is the new moat As I repeatedly said: Data, Design (UX), Distribution are the new levers for AI-era products
@biilmann @zeeg @schickling If you were to predict what would that future be from this? > This change will have huge ripple effects across all of developer tooling, which is currently centered around code as our core IP and the core abstraction developers work at.
@Fintor4u @manoj_216 What are the tax implications, if you earn in India (investments, real estate and even remote job)
@megarajan Not arguing. Not a doc but want to understand this better. Can you tell more abt these two. I am starting to understand more with the pyramid @netshrink shared
@iid_sp @drpraveenpsy @theliverdr He has done that in his medical field. He goes against govt and establishment when needed. Each has to do in their domains
@bhavishsood having a debate without kindness pushes people to the other side it doesn't bring them to see the "truth"
@samjshore Thanks Sam
@masihipunjab It has come to an ridiculous level. People are going to non-veg restaurant and get offended when chicken biryani is served in next table.
Whether you’re a tech leader, indie creator, or consultant, Your personal brand can be your most powerful career asset. But only if it’s built with intention. What do you want to know from @SejalSud on personal branding? This is your chance to learn from her. 7/7
In an upcoming episode of the Gravitas WINS Podcast, I am discussing with @SejalSud She is a sharp voice in personal branding, entrepreneurship, and social media growth. I will ask about what works, what doesn't, and how to stay sane while building a brand. 6/7
And yet, personal branding isn’t all upside. Done poorly, it leads to: ⚠️ Burnout ⚠️ Pressure to perform ⚠️ Blurred identity ⚠️ Backlash and brand confusion 5/7
Later, Dorie Clark expanded this idea in HBR. She offered 3 tools for standing out: • Social proof • Content creation • Networking These still hold up today. 4/7
Personal branding isn’t just about visibility. It’s about owning the value you bring. As Peters put it: "You've got to become relentlessly focused on what you do that adds value... and that you can shamelessly take credit for." 3/7
Tom Peters asked a bold question: “What do you do that adds remarkable, measurable, distinguished, distinctive value?” He argued that in the new world of work, you are not just an employee — You are a brand. 2/7
My mentor is proficient in 5 languages. So when I got my kids, I talked with him about this. He said, make a clear rule at home and stick to it. Kids will adjust to it. That's what we did and it worked. Now they can easily converse in 3 languages.
