@arveni_ @exitValhalla After 35 there are no ugly men. Only poor.
@SiriusLee666 @ravihanda @doshijatin I don’t make that much. But I work for 3 days a week (for the past decade), live with my family in Panchkula (quality of life is better and affordable prices of everything), homeschool my two boys. Best of both ways.
@samuelmandal @manaman_chhina That's the paradox of democracy - I suppose everywhere but we definitely see in India
@seancdavis29 @simonw I haven't tried this with cursor. But with Claude I throw in a screenshot and it gives me code. My learning is that: we expect the output code to be perfect the first time. Hardly the case. You need to iterate asking questions and understanding blocks of code.
@vidurb93 @suchetadalal Only marginal correction to the otherwise fantastic rebuttal is, it should be "govern" not "rule". "opportunity to a nobody to now *govern* the capital of the country" Probably "rajas" and "kingdoms" are so ingrained in our psyche that, we don't even notice when we speak.
@nutanc That’s Bombay spirit
@programmer1200 @CJHandmer If you already don't have a blog, you can try out LinkedIn. It is easy to publish. Initially, don't bother about likes or follows. I publish how I use LI: Once you've built a routine, you can setup a blog - @Ghost , @wordpressdotcom are all easy publish…
@TimurNegru @gregisenberg Do we know why they are shutting down and what was their revenue?
@madversity May be Starmer was thinking of Hacker opposing ban on British sausages ;-)
@jackerhack Think marking them as spam as a service to humanity 😀 If there is no unsubscribe link I mark them as spam. If there is unsubscribe link it goes to a different folder. 😜
@aakashg0 I combined the flywheel concept and another concept by Rabbi Daniel Lapin into building my own flywheel: WINS, which I talk about here: To this day, it turns slowly but steadily giving me returns that I couldn't have imagined.
@_skris @championswimmer For my kids. For those who can't leave the country. For those who still believe in the ideals of this country's ideals (unity in diversity; you can throw out an empire with non-violence ...)
@_zenman Nope. But we should know what we fight. EU is not a PII-safe-havan is the point I wanted to make. Getting regulation vs entrepreneurship is not easy though
@_zenman I know. But I'm told whenever they release something new, this flag gets back to default. Also don't expect GDPR or equal one protects PII. There are countless ways MNCs flout those norms.
@_zenman Of course; everyone - from the small shop in the corner to LI; they all use your PII in one way or the other.
@AlisaCohn Probably I'm living too much "ideal life" Work only 3 days a week (and enjoy whatever work I do) Homeschool my two boys Go swimming with the family daily Eat out in a fine restaurant at least once a week Whenever time permits, serve among the slum dwellers Not that I'm rich.…
@madversity seems to be a fake news: I know it is a funny comment that you made, but when people trust you as a reputed journalist (at least I do that's why I follow you), these little things add up when the newsfeed is full of fake news and crap.
@aakash_rewari yes. setting up kotlin / flutter / react native on mac is super cumbersome
@aakash_rewari but what about android?
@pankaj013 @waitin4agi_ coding # business. Coding an app is just 10% of solving a problem. People will realise when they take that route.
@JosephHolguin @jst_kishan Got it. Thanks. Surprised AWS talks abt Guardrails as part of their bedrock offering. And they didn’t release it for this.
@nickkirt @BrettFromDJ Not a designer. Since not a designer and I focus on getting things done: I keep only two fonts - one for titles and another for body. Only 3 sizes. Only 2-3 colors. For presentations I use similar rule-of-thumbs.
@Vandana61637949 @subhajrao Democracy cannot be ‘tyranny of the unelected’ - Arun Jaitley
@pascallaliberte So many times when I am unclear I will start to write. Things will start to unravel as I write. If I keep writing, clarity emerges. I keep going. When I am done, not only I will have clarity there will be deep satisfaction too.
@Panks_Arora “The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men.” -Plato We have to become involved in public affairs and shape the debates that affect our lives.
@arindam___paul Reading annual reports is great way to understand the trends in any industry (that too validated one). This is a hack I've used to improve my career. Wrote about it here:
@jackerhack @alysha_lobo > Notion needs internet. One of the reason why I stick with obsidian. Another - its "file over app" philosophy.
@JosephHolguin @jst_kishan > they didn’t prompt to stop this. It’s literally one sentence. Could you please elaborate this? Do you mean it should be part of the system prompt? Or how would you stop usage like this?
@goutham_kamath @benbrownww @gokulr @Klarna @salesforce @Workday There could be pay once for software, subscribe if you need support model too. We will see multiple revenue models emerging
@rickwong888 @gokulr @Klarna @salesforce @Workday Only data & customer experience will differentiate companies.
@_zenman @catalinmpit @AnthropicAI @alexalbert__ Oh, didn't know you get it even with subscriptions. Not a convincing argument to subscribe to Claude
@amandanat Speed reading is for idiots. If something is worth reading, read it well. If not, don't read.
@ProsaicView @kbssidhu1961 @ChanderBhatia01 Most Indians can't fathom the rise of China. So underneath, in our heart, we want it to fail. So we quote problems of population, lack of democracy, and so on. I have heard these for the last two decades. Much like the wish of "Americans will queue up for Indian visa".
@johnrushx @frantzfries Probably this is the test of if a company is in founder mode or manager mode.
@CN_MFG Valid points David. I don't know if you know Indian market landscape. India is also a large market and multi-national companies are attracted by it. But why India has not thrived in R&D? Any thoughts? Ideas?
@PraveenInPublic Absolutely Praveen. When I have time, I will incorporate something like this into the ci/cd pipeline so code reviews are automatic.
@SathyaHQ Working on • adding email validation • modify homepage
@nutanc > That's exactly what AI is good at. Copying. Isn't that what "most" programming is? We copy code from sample projects, tutorials, code portals, stackoverflow? Now everything is consolidated into one tool - genAI tools for code generation?
@munishjauhar Time flies .... when you enjoy everything you do. Congrats MJ ;-) Here is a wish for many more years of high revenue and high margin growth.
@_Nick_Diller @timkellernyc A good morning routine for physical and spiritual health leading to a holistic living. God bless Nick. would love to hear some topics discussed / listened.
@pankaj013 Agreed. The issue is we are ok with it. We don't take it up with municipality for sterilization. In today's India citizens pay a lot but losing every right. Because we turn every question on accountability into a polarized political debate.
@rishabh_grg Please feel free to do so. I learn a lot from your questions
@rishabh_grg Start with the dialog of the characters that you like in the TV series. I used to repeat dialogs of Chandler Bing (Mathew Perry). Not just the dialog but the delivery too. It helps you with vocabulary, pronunciation, and tempo. Then memorize and speak-out loud one or two…
@rishabh_grg This is what I helped me: the associated post returns ssl error. but this should give you the gist
@pankaj013 Chandigarh airport has this. Where are you now?
@_zenman This is just one: LLMs are also becoming part of coding workflow
@DellAnnaLuca If you don't read newspapers, you are uninformed. If you read newspapers, you will be misinformed. - heard from Denzel Washington
@WIONews @madversity Telegram doesn't have end-to-end for all chats; only for secret chats.
