@pranesh so now even Aadhaar number is not accepted; only "original" Aadhaar is accepted 🤦🏻
@NIKHILLJHA If you get policy via online method, how to get a good agent? Something similar to what you wrote happened to me though not that big amount. Insurer rejected it twice. Now the time is passed. But want to know for future.
@ShwetaKukreja_ South Indian living in Pkl. Yesterday at the blackout ops, have to talk to kids about what it is, why it is needed, and other war related topics. Though we talked in the comfort of a safe house, it was still nervous. Only when we are in a particular situation we can fathom it
@DeepakNesss @theo worse: enshittification happen
@pranesh Been thinking of restarting @GravitasWins podcast. I know (& interested) only software tech; would there be interesting? what kind of topics can be there? who all could be guest (you of course)
@aakash_rewari I disagree that it is a solid tech; it is probabilistic. But I agree it is up to the team in how they implement
@aakash_rewari whenever companies automate customer part of their solution , customer experience goes down. same is going to happen with AI
@_zenman @SauravDassss They are talking to people who won't ask this question. You are always a wrong audience ;-)
@bhavishsood will try. thanks for sharing
@DeepakNesss Thank you Deepak. Checking it out
@DeepakNesss I don't know if you have special credit cards without forex markups. Niyo provides zero forex conversion charges. I use it for all payments for these saas services
@DeepakNesss BTW: Do you use niyo cards?
@DeepakNesss interesting; are there any scripts behind (I assume so); can you share source for this?
@AnshulGarg1986 @romitme > Where UC employees will be stuck almost in the same bracket for years. > Only people who themselves don't want to grow will remain in the same company.
@drgurner Part of my morning routine: 🙏 Couple’s Prayer – A few minutes with my wife before the day’s work begins. A habit we’ve kept for nearly five years.
@thebeautyofsaas one of the best exercise I did in this regard: writing my obituary (and started living to earn it):
@_zenman too difficult for them to understand at this stage.
@_zenman yes Canva is something my boys are using daily
@shivamnow If violating a value isn't punished (by self/society) there is no meaning in the value. If "being faithful to my wife" is top value & if I violate it, there is no punishment it has no meaning & hence it is not a value. religion is just institutionalized value system like courts
@aakash_rewari Thank you. While researching on this, found out that may be investing in liquid funds are better. (still learning and researching)
@shivamnow A thought exercise Shivam. Do you have a hierarchy of values? What is at the top of that hierarchy? Would you hold to that top value no matter what (if not there is neither hierarchy nor a value)? Now you have a god. If that value has proof or not is next exercise.
@_zenman I am ok capitalism works this way; but when petrol prices go down per barrel, petrol prices don't go down. Then it is not capitalism; only greed.
@DeepakNesss I have analytics on my personal blog. I look at it more from curiosity perspective (to learn) rather than anything else. So sometimes I don't even notice if traffic drops.
@DeepakNesss Do personal blogs bother about traffic?
@DeepakNesss @Xyborg Recently I attended an AWS AI conf. There were many presentations about what all GenAI can do. I went to the presenters and asked how many of these are in prod. None. Zero. People are afraid of putting things into prod because these are probabilistic not deterministic
@DeepakNesss I thought about it. For a c-suite person, these daily updates are overwhelming. They need to know what is happening, why it matters to them, how they can get started with it. They don't need daily; a weekly is good enough. May be I should relook into that
@aakash_rewari If they are then they would reduce chances of this happening. With ever increasing burden (law, tax…) I don’t think they care. They know they can pour bigotry fuel and the ensuing fire will keep them in power.
@vishalraina I always learnt that Hinduism is polytheistic. In one of the videos, Vivek mentioned that "the hindusim I follow teaches god is one" I thought that was a word salad to appeal to his voters. Then I went researching and it appears that at core Hinduism is monotheistic
Here is two anecdotes of how I forged deep friendship with two people I met online. For deep relations: meet people, be present, and live experiences
@msahajwani This is the greatest benefit I see from using these LLMs. It makes me to think about what I want to do (features, bug fixes) lot more carefully and document it (even in the form of prompts). Earlier that was not the case.
@_zenman My whole process: Not because dividends are much but because our expenses are less. We live a simple life. No silk sarees, jewellery shopping ... We spend more on experiences where we can spend time together as a family
I wrote about my experience of using #llm to understand Indian budget here:
@ndwignall Write your obituary and then live to earn that obituary:
@DylanoA4 Future of jobs is partnership of (high-agency) experts:
May be you can delegate actions that has less downside into agentic AI. I hope large companies don't buy into hype and delegate critical actions to agentic AI.
@SathyaHQ Read a thoughtful essay: A hackathon sort of. Completed in about 15 hours across 3 days. Very minimal but functional.
@sham_chandak @IndiaNewGen I have a "love-hate" feeling about NRN He was the first one to make his employees millionaires. ESOPs and becoming millionaires because of it was unheard of earlier. Leave alone the associated boom because of Infy But post-CEO everything he did has been questionable
@jackerhack I don't know if any of these two will work. But hey it is social media. Why not throw some answers randomly ;-)
@jackerhack What trends are they behind India?
@RajeevMatta @abhiandniyu exact idiots who are clapping now
@asmartbear The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord. - Proverbs 21:31
Weekly notes for 7th week - Getting the team familiar with GenAI tools - Gave a talk at SD college. It was a finely arranged event
@craigleo @DeepakNesss So AI is taking the job of AI?
