Never imagined founder of the tool I use often will come on Gravitas WINS show and chat with me about the usage. @jessep stayed for the complete session & chatted for half hour on future roadmap of @WorkFlowy. Amazing feeling which I will cherish for long. Thank you Jesse
Richard Branson carried a notebook with him all the time. In fact, Darwin, Picasso, Mark Twain all carried a notebook with them. Do you know why? You don't know when ideas will strike you. You don't want to lose those unformed but precious ideas.
What @EmmySobieski said to @craigburgess in a podcast. She thought she doesn’t deserve success so she would sabotage her success. I did that too. That’s why I can resonate with her and with what @arvidkahl is saying 👇

Culture is what you do. Values are what you believe but virtues are what you do. Today we discussed @bhorowitz's amazing book on culture - "What You Do Is Who You Are" at the 13th Gravitas WINS books discussion.
I can identify with what Dr. Soumitra narrates in this thread. Hard working, honest friends have been trying to make a living and meeting their needs. Some of us have helped anonymously. But it is still not enough. The impact is going to be long and hard.
We all talk so passionately about culture. But do we know how to set the culture? @bhorowitz repeats a military saying, "If you see something below standard and do nothing, then you’ve set a new standard" in his excellent book on culture: What You Do Is Who You Are.

I like the 1-3-5 system. What do you like?

What is the best advice you got? @rishabh_grg: Given by my dad. Don't compare yourself with anyone. We are all climbing multiple ladders. In some, we are at 6th step, another 10, another 22. Don't look down & be proud or feel low with those above you. Lot to digest here

Today in Gravitas WINS book club, @Aswiniselvaraj led discussion on "Tiny Habits" by @bjfogg. She presented practical ways in which she incorporated the methods shared in the book into her life as a working mom. As usual, we had engaging discussions throughout.
If ease of doing business was a reality, then Indian businesses would not leave the country. These days we constantly sound the drums of nationalism. If this is true, then why are India’s rich and super rich hastening to join the ‘quit India movement’?
We are going to discuss the book "Tiny Habits" in today's Gravitas WINS book club. @Aswiniselvaraj will share how she implemented the concepts in the book, her struggles, her tweaks, and her tiny wins. Join us today at the Clubhouse discussion at 7 pm:

A great prodcast episode by @craigburgess & @ChrisWillx - What's enough in personal development? We chase one book after the other. But do we stop and use what we have gained? Some points I noted: 👇
