Actors & musicians work together to make movies mostly as freelancers. Directors, actors, and musicians are not employed by companies. Sports players are no different. Kholi and Dhoni play for franchises, but they are not employees. Will we see the same model in every job?

I do many things, but nothing gets me high like coding. As a CTO, I don't code officially. But I try to code whenever possible to keep myself attached to my favorite activity in life. A snippet I coded today to fetch twitter stats.

Every week, ask these questions and answer them as well as you can: * what was the peak win? * what are the wins and what led to those wins? * what are the lessons learned? Review every week. You'll be lot better in a year.

Testing out @penpotapp as a replacement for sketch app. So far very pleased. Does everything I need. Looking for templates for designs though like loads of templates for Canva.

Sum is greater than parts only if parts are designed to fit together. You can bring the best of engine, tyres, gears, and so on. It won't make a best car. Remember this when you hire for your company.

Dr @malpani might be true. Nowadays whichever event I go, people wants to know more about my @FamilyIsSchool and how I'm educating my kids at home.

When companies demand more and more work for the same amount of pay, employees will cut corners and it will show up in the delivery. Bosses can yell at the workers. It won't change. Treat them well. Pay them more.

We place far too much emphasis on engineering at the expense of art and literature. When you read literature: • your empathy grows • you know opposing views • you fight for helpless • you get good at storytelling • your moral compass sharpens
