Having once been an Islamist myself (when I was much younger) I can tell you with the wisdom of hindsight that a lot of it is really about identity and very little of it is about spirituality. We feel humiliated by the West, and alienated from our own pre-colonial identities

By "senior" I mean, as a crude approximation, "old enough to have school aged children at home". By "involved" I mean "typing code" and "reviewing code". I know! In our industry it has been more common for such folks to age out to management and leave the typing to the kids.

@jjude The problem with any sort of RAID is that HDD choices are locked across the set. To upgrade space or performance, all HDDs must be replaced, and that's just adding to the price and hassle. For home use a non-RAID SSD combined with cloud backup seems more sensible.

I have been running a newsletter for 4-5 years now, before it became cool. Initially I sent a newletter whenever I published a blog post, which was whenever I wanted to write. In the last 2 years I've been regular. I send every Wednesday. I call it "Wednesday Wisdom" 😜
