So basically Indian journalists are uneducated! And they just parrot what the govt wants them to say. As many pointed out, this was in school syllabus, it is a UNESCO world heritage site ...still our journalists think it got the spotlight only today. https://t.co/VwAUBvSVaa
My notes from @jposhaughnessy interviewing @dollarsanddata About "Climbing the Wealth Ladder" (These are not verbatim; my interpretation of the discussion as I listened & notes taken with @typefully) It's a long thread of notes
Apple is not a sprint runner but marathon winner They've been consistently able to maintain their lead in laptop, mobiles, accessories ... Yes, their AI (siri or genAI) is not so good; Do you think they will eventually get it like iCloud?
Tried @buffer AI assistance to rewrite a tweet. Not so good. It rewrites series of lines into a long para 🤦
In fact BJP don't want "educated" crowd, because they will think and question. They want uneducated thugs who will do what they want them to do. https://t.co/htwNCFFelX
If you look for next book to read may be you can refer to this books recommended by celebrities and experts https://t.co/DPwbr71u0W
Uploaded a screenshot to both v0 & Claude and asked to design in preact, tailwind, daisyUI Both did a good job but Claude did it much better.
Was speaking to an entrepreneur in Indian Ed tech. He had been in this for past 20 years. He talked abt so many problems that can be solved with tech. Talking to him I realised the importance of domain experience. Without it one can’t know what problems are worth solving.
We (Indians) approach science as a body of knowledge to get a degree not a way of thinking. Until that continues India won’t become a developed nation (economy will grow coz of population)
Today I was talking to an entrepreneur in coaching industry (in India of course) He said: nobody is going to school to learn, only to get a degree. ⇒ everyone is looking for a shortcut to this end. Guidebooks, coaching classes … thrive coz of that.
If you generate preact code with Claude it will use “class name” instead of class (coming from react). You have to prompt it to specifically use class.
I am going to close @AxisBank account soon. Because they started spam calling minor account holders to sell investments. I will let you know if it goes easy or hard. https://t.co/OffCFSprjs https://t.co/dOd3YCSvLC
Why I love @X I hope @elonmusk keeps it that way Where else you will find a response "I wrote this" from the creator for the question, "Are you this old" Thank you @davepl1968 for keeping all of us entertained in "those" days https://t.co/2oV95Emlba
Why I started homeschooling my boys : https://t.co/BlNGqwyaDJ As years goes on, I am more than convinced I made a right choice https://t.co/a2m69FYhxd
Local city officials will award him. PM will head the function. Everyone will go about their lives. Citizens also don’t have shame for not keeping the local and union govt (chd comes under union govt) accountable https://t.co/2Gbdj4O0KF
Biggest challenge for CXO: how can you carry along the team along the path of change And most often CXOs are not trained for that
If you look at science as a body of knowledge you will memorise. You might even apply it. But if you look at it as a way of thinking, you will start questioning. That’s a different way of life. It might get you into trouble too. This is not taught in schools.
We used to hear consider "quality" sources for your information. In the AI era, what is a quality source of info if all underlying LLMs are trained on the same corpus?
Looks like the US is not that different from India, in terms of media freedom. https://t.co/4TJuvTCuYE
Who says "vibe" coding isn't fun. Like everything else in corporate life, it is fun for those who don't have to use it. https://t.co/x0zz64OboJ
there’s a vocal minority who think we’re heading to heaven on an escalator. (Usually, these people are trying to sell you the escalator.)
The beauty ain’t in the necklace. It’s in the neck. Maybe that’s my problem with AI-generated prose: it’s all necklace, no neck. - @a_m_mastroianni
Got to @a_m_mastroianni 's blog (https://t.co/n7Ov7KeOWD) via @paulbloomatyale What an interesting blog. Spent the last 4 hours reading posts after posts. As he says in one of his posts: his writing shows he cares about the topics on which he writes.
> If you actually care about African prosperity, let’s fight what’s blocking us NOW, not relitigate the distant past. What @magattew says about Africa is true for today's Indian leaders too (likes of @ShashiTharoor). If you care about Indian prosperity, fight NOW not the past https://t.co/RsQvM0aTSP

Things take longer to happen than you think they will, and then they happen faster than you thought they could. — Rudiger Dornbusch
Was listening to MSFT sales guy in a webinar. He said, we go into LinkedIn and find accounts to cold target. This blew me. MSFT guys doing cold targeting? I couldn’t imagine that.
The patient inherit everything the impatient leave behind. — Shane Parish
Looks like I should release more clips https://t.co/M1KpYKIZLf
💥 Why elite CTOs still need coaches in the age of AI New episode released today. @viktor_nyblom & I cover: • a coach helps you see what you can't • coaching # information • energy is the multiplier • writing a "user manual of me" 1️⃣ https://t.co/Or4XE5kCkN
You have to be unreasonable to see the world that doesn’t yet exist. — Will Guidara
Genesis 1 opens with two radical ideas: • humans are made in God’s image • the world has order and purpose These two ideas became the seedbed of human rights & early scientific discoveries. And continue to shape worldview of many. 1/12
Best way to find out answers is to have a podcast. Then bring experts in those fields. The more episodes you release, the more you are able to attract higher level experts. That's the template for a good long running podcast https://t.co/HDHTyUFPYk
Same here. I tweet for myself. I tweet to my present self (this is interesting; this is what I'm doing; documenting my journey) I tweet to my past self (you doubted, it's fine it all turned out ok; or the game is still on) I tweet to my future self (this is the path you took) https://t.co/bHeVv9feKY
I routinely use chatGPT to transcribe my podcast interviews, summarise and get key insights from them. On best days, it’s awesome. Like 10x outsourced agent. Many times, it will fail miserably. Even when prompted with variations it will still fail. Frustrating.
As many of you know, I homeschool my two boys. When I mention this, a common question arises: What about their social life? How will they make friends?
People who say GenAI will replace jobs are those who don’t use GenAI tools daily. They read a hyper content creator on Twitter or a consultant report and parrot rather than from first hand experience. If they use they will know it fails often and cant expose that to customers.
Your partner should be able to suffer well. What a valid advice. True. https://t.co/iqwpROqGTZ
From the experts. It is not due to the pilot error. It is one thing to be curious. But it is entirely another to be an content creator who wants to get more clicks and engagement. Be curious. Read. Ask. Don't be a clickbait content creator. https://t.co/bIbk0B13FO
Your spec becomes the product. Everything else is just execution. Agents can read product specifications in plain English and generate code. They can even test and execute them. It is also possible to automatically deploy them to servers. 1/4
Hey @DescriptApp : I couldn't find this out from docs or even chatgpt. Hope you can help. I have a guest on the podcast. Have already split the scenes. In the scenes where the guest is speaking I want to mute myself. Don't want to hear my "hm.. yea..." How to do that?
Hey @mybookr when are you opening in Panchkula / Chandigarh
I have been reading the Bible for over 20 years. Each year, I attempt to read it cover to cover. So far, I read it from a theological perspective. Though I applied many Biblical concepts & benefited from them, I never took a systemic study with this point of view. 1/9
