In photography you move around a subject to get a better picture. You can stand, lift your 📷 & click. Or get closer Or sit down Or move ⬅️ or ➡️ Same idea applies in life Take ideas given by family, society or move around to form your own idea 👇same spot; diff shots

Not sure if @bespokespeeches still believe what he wrote in “Speechwriting”. Indian politicians jump parties and they say entirely opposite of what they have been saying.

When actors say an offensive dialogue we don’t say “gosh why would he say it”. We know it is in the script. Same is with politicians. They are performers. What they say in public isn’t a window into their soul. @EconTalker on 👇episode

Flooding is inevitable. @mkstalin didn't blame the previous governments. He got on to monitoring and ensuring relief work was done on time. That is leadership. Hope Tamilians realize what they have and not exchange it for some bigoted propaganda.

Digital camera didn’t kill Kodak. Facebook killed Kodak. Now folks had a way to share the grainy, low resolution photos to friends across the globe. That’s how #disruption works -comes from diff direction Fantastic episode on #innovation with ⁦@donaldmiller

Have been using @1Password for ages (bought in 2015). With new v8, looks like I can't setup the app on a new iPad without signing up for their membership program. Existing installations works though.

Last time something like this happened was in 2014. MCA21 was down when the new operator took over. @suchetadalal wrote about it; economic times wrote abt it on the 1st pg. Was tracked at the secy level to closure. Now doesn’t seem to get that attention.

Real entrepreneurial work is not raising invoice; it is not to find customers. Real entrepreneurial work is to choose what is most effective. Thanks @tnvora for the much needed advice

Not only when our relatives or friends drive. But also when hired drivers drive with one hand and talking on the phone while speeding on highways, it is our responsibility to stop them.

If you go with the intention of taking, you'll not get anything. But if you go with the intention of giving, then you get. You don't need to take. I have heard a variation of this theme from many successful people.

Learn project management, not Basecamp Learn agile development, not Jira Learn coding, not VS code Though knowing the tool in depth helps to be efficient, learning what you use it for is more important.

How true these words of Clayton Christensen? Innovative ideas don’t pop out fully formed. If senior execs wants to fit them to serve current biz models, innovative ideas never take off.

What is the balance between polluting the environment and taking the humanity forward?

Corruption gone from India (at lower level of govt functionary - since that’s what most of us face) is all naïveté. Was speaking to one who writes land registration docs. He says amt is not handled in any govt office but it is all handled at outside shops. 😥🤦‍♂️

Hey @pocketcasts is it possible to skip x seconds for all episodes of a podcast? Many podcasts have ads / same intro. Would like to skip them.

Came across @pocketcasts from @photomatt feed. It has one feature I have been looking for - filter on duration. When I go for a walk / jog, can select episodes according to the duration. Great feature.

We have become so polarised that we look only at the positives of the leaders we admire and flaws of those we oppose. Timely reminder from Valluvar to weigh both before we judge a leader. Thanks @SathyaHQ for the visual.

This book came highly recommended in many #pkm forums. Very interesting advice in how to develop ideas as you read and think. Thankfully, tools like @obsdmd & @logseq already help us to implement the system presented in the book
