STAR framework by @khushbooverma_ is a good mental model to answer interview questions. What I ask is: what is that the person is most proud of in the last 3 years in their projects and ask them to explain the reason.

In every interview I take, I insist they evaluate us (the company / team...) as much as I'm evaluating them. I always ask, Do you have any questions for me? Only 10% of them will have questions; only 5% will ask thoughtful, relevant questions.
